Library Orientation for UT Southwestern Austin Programs Affiliates

Welcome UT Southwestern Austin Programs Affiliates!

We have prepared this online orientation to make your entry into the UT Southwestern Medical Center Library as easy and problem-free as possible.

Start by registering for a Library card (Note: Click "No" on the security window prompt). Contact the UT Southwestern Austin GME office if you have not received your UT Southwestern ID and password. A library card allows you to access licensed resources and checkout items. In addition, you can use your library card to register for an ILLiad account and request a copy of an article or item that the Library does not own.

I will be your troubleshooter for any issues or problems that occur during this transition. For example, if you have a problem registering because you are waiting on a new ID card, I can assist you via email in the meantime. Please do not hesitate to contact me for help with any aspect of using the Library to support your vital work in patient care, research, and teaching.
