Collection Recommendations: Books & Journals

The Library welcomes recommendations in support of clinical care, research, and educational programs at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Recommendations will be evaluated and prioritized with various criteria in mind:

• Relevance to UT Southwestern programs and justification of need
• Campus priorities
• Potential audience
• Collection balance, gaps, uniqueness
• Resource quality
• Electronic availability of the requested material
• Site license terms
• Shared purchasing opportunities
• Resource cost
• Status of the Library's collection budget
