National Cancer Data Base
Founded as a joint project of the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons and the American Cancer Society, the NCDB is a nationwide oncology outcomes database for 1,600 hospitals in 50 states. The data collection arm of the NCDB is, in effect, a national hospital cancer registry for over 25 cancers. Statistics can include patient demographics, survival rates, tumor characteristics and treatment by stage.
