SAS Portal
This portal lists some resources in print and online that will assist you with performing statistical analyses with SAS (pronounced "sass"), a multi-platform software system that uses the same language and commands on all platforms. SAS is an acronym of "Statistical Analysis Software", and the Base SAS platform is used for data management and basic statistical procedures.
The Library offers selected computers with SAS 9.3 installed for use by UT Southwestern faculty, staff, and students. Four computers are available at the South Campus (main) Library, and two computers are provided at the North Campus Branch Library.
In addition, the UT Southwestern Division of Biostatistics offers short courses and credit courses on SAS for UT Southwestern affiliates. Core Facilities’ Research Software Core Operations offers information on campus site licenses and how to get some technical support.
Electronic Books
The Library has access to many electronic books related to statistics in its eBooks on EBSCOhost collection. eBooks on EBSCOhost is searchable by full text, title, author, keyword, and subject. The following is a selected list of electronic books specifically about working with SAS.
